Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of the mobile game Twinglide (package name com.teoktonos.twinglide) distributed on Google Play. By buying or using Twinglide, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who provides the game

Twinglide is published by Teoktonos, the solo indie studio of Juan Manuel de Villeros Arias, based in Colombia ("we", "us", or "Teoktonos").

2. License to use

Subject to these Terms and your lawful purchase through Google Play, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download and play Twinglide on devices linked to your Google account, for your own non-commercial entertainment.

You do not own the game, its code, art, audio, or other content. All rights not expressly granted remain with Teoktonos.

3. Purchase, price, and refunds

Twinglide is sold as a one-time purchase on Google Play (currently US$0.99, subject to regional pricing and taxes shown at checkout). There are no ads, subscriptions, or in-app purchases inside the game.

Payment, billing, and refunds are handled by Google, not by Teoktonos. Refund requests follow Google Play's refund policy. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights you have under the law of your country of residence (including in the EEA and UK).

4. No accounts; privacy; local data

Twinglide does not require an account, registration, or login with Teoktonos. We do not collect personal data through the game. How information is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.

Progress, settings, and customization are stored only on your device. We do not provide cloud backup. If you uninstall the app, clear app data, lose or replace your device, or reset data in-game, that local information may be permanently lost. You are responsible for keeping your device and Google account secure.

5. Updates

We may release updates, patches, or new versions through Google Play. Some updates may be required to keep playing. We do not promise that Twinglide will remain available forever or that every device or OS version will stay supported.

6. Acceptable use

You may not: copy, distribute, rent, sell, or commercially exploit the game except as Google Play and these Terms allow; cheat, disrupt, or interfere with the game or other players' enjoyment; or reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except to the extent applicable law expressly permits (and then only for those permitted purposes).

Optional screenshot sharing uses your device's native share sheet. Twinglide does not upload that image to our servers; any app you choose to share with is governed by that app's own terms.

7. Third-party services

Twinglide is distributed through Google Play. Google's terms and policies also apply to your purchase and use of the store. We are not responsible for Google Play's availability, billing systems, or policies.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Twinglide is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Teoktonos and Juan Manuel de Villeros Arias are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of Twinglide. Our total liability for claims relating to the game will not exceed what you paid for it on Google Play.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers or limits. Where that is so, the above applies only as far as the law allows. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded (including, where such rules apply, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. That choice does not deprive you of any mandatory protections of the consumer law of your country of residence.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of Twinglide after an update means you accept the revised Terms, except where local law requires a different process. If you do not agree, stop using the game.
